On August 15, 2015. he released his first EP/Album TRXYE with his lead single being ”Happy Little Pill” (best song everrr) and it began to rise steadily on many iTunes charts until it became #1 in 66 different territories. It landed on #5 on Billboard as well. Not bad for his first EP right?

Well that’s just the beginning. In his latest album, “WILD,” he collaborated with The Broods and Tkay Maidza. (By the way can we all take a second to admire how beautiful his album cover art looks. Very Tumblr. ) They are all amazing songs. I loved all of them and I think you will too. His album has also reached top 5 on Billboard 200. He has been praised by the likes of Sam Smith and Taylor Swift, who called his album “ beautiful and stunning.” If that’s not enough for you to try his music, I don’t know what is!

His music genre is a mix of pop, indie, and electronic. His music expresses so many different emotions: hurt, love, lust, warmth, heartbreak, helplessness and frustration. All of his songs are different and they can be very dark yet they can be very soft and comforting as well. His music can connect to so many people in so many different ways, which is why I believe he is so special. He is signed to EMI Australia and he is creating a “WILD” music video trilogy on his official channel.

I love his voice because it’s just so ominous and mysterious and his music really commands your attention. It’s just very different. The album is very raw and real, and everyone should definitely listen to these songs because they are all absolutely wonderful. Brace yourself everyone, Troye’s just getting started.
