FASHION: Thankful for Style

By: Kaitlynn T. Liriano

When October ends, Halloween candy is thirty-percent off at Target and it’s time to prepare for Thanksgiving. What is a girl to wear for the holiday?

Personally, I prefer to be comfortable but not look it on this particular holiday. My go-to bottoms always turn out to be a pair of leggings (a girl’s got to adjust to the major “food baby” somehow). Because it is also the end of November and typically pretty cold, I love to wear sweaters, big oversized ones at that. To dress up this outfit, a pair of short-heel ankle booties usually does the trick, along with a statement necklace and a pair of earrings of your choice (pearls are my favorite for when I dress up).

When you put all of these pieces together, you have a simple outfit that allows you to be comfortable while also looking like you put effort into creating your Thanksgiving look. Remember, you can always change up certain details of the outfit to fit your own liking and style.
