By Osasere Imade
The noise I hear is quite not the same.
If only, if only, I could bring back those times.
I look around thinking: What changed?”
I’m not complaining it’s just not the same.
If only, if only. I could bring back those times.
We were once the same, but I say those times have changed.
What could happen between then and now?
Time to go back to what it once was.
The days where it was old to me, but new to you.
What could have happened between then and now?
Bring back what I knew.
What I knew was easy.
Everything I knew, stolen.
Maybe it is not time to blame, but me who is frozen in time.
