[Editor’s Note: Sure, typical Christmas and Chanukah meals with turkey or beef are tasty; but if you want to shake up your holiday menu for a change, Ms. Ahmed offers you the delicious Desi kebab recipe below.]
Canned Tuna-2
Fried onions-½ cup
Ginger paste-1 tablespoon
Cumin powder-½ tablespoon
Coriander leaves, chopped-¼ cup
Salt-to your taste
Egg-1
Chili flakes- to your taste
Mix the above mentioned ingredients thoroughly. Create a flattened ball with your hands. Then fry in a pan with any kind of oil you desire, and the kebab does not have to be deep fried. Take it out of the pan when it’s golden brown.
Serve the kebabs sizzling hot with ketchup or leave some for Santa with some milk. Of course !
