Being aware…
What would it be?
Why are you asking me?
The society is full of mystery
And inequality
Gun violence and capitalism still continue.
Walking around noticing nothing, as if everything is invisible
Turning our heads away, while government makes rules to suit their way
Look below the surface, the root carries
deeper length and strength
Progress may give hope to the next generation
Being aware gives a sense of understanding.
Ignorance may lead to despair —
Which may prevent us from stepping into another layer.
